Detox:
The first thing that a client at Beachway Therapy Center needs to engage in is detox. Our detox is a medical detox where the client is administered medications to make the detoxification process much more tolerable and comfortable. The client is monitored constantly during the detox process.
Programs:
At Beachway Therapy Center, we offer programs ranging from 30 days to 6 months in length. In each of our programs, clients learn that they are able to cope with their feelings one day at a time and without the use of substances. Our treatment is both inpatient and outpatient, depending upon the client’s individual needs.
Mental Illness and Emotional Issues:
At the same time, as the client is learning new life skills, he or she will be learning how to tackle the emotional issues. Often times, people become addicted to alcohol and/or drugs because life feels too overwhelming to take on without “help.” So they “medicate” themselves.
